Sausage or Hamburger
Gravy with Biscuits
1 lb ground sausage or
beef crumbled
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 cup water
1 tsp gaur gum
In a non stick skillet
fry 1 lb ground sausage or beef crumbled into small pieces until browned.
Remove the meat and reserve
the oil in the pan. Add milk and water and bring to a boil. Then sprinkle
the gaur gum over the liquid in the pan. Use a hand mixer (the kind
you make milk shakes with) to stir the gravy and make smooth so the
lumps dissappear. After the gravy is smooth return the meat to the
pan and reheat just a few minutes.
Serve hot over 2 Atkins
